So, you are thinking seriously about WoW power leveling. The disadvantage is that while your character is beening leveled you cant log in and play your character until the power leveling session has been completed.
As with all things there is an alternative. That alternative is to purchase a used WoW account. This is very simular to WoW power leveling in that you will be getting a character with a much higher level than the before mentioned dreaded level 1. The advantage to this is that you get a character with some nice equipment and no down time waiting for the character to be leveled. The disadvantage to this is that you don't get to name the character and you don't have a say in how it is trained. Although it is a lot faster than power leveling.
In conclusion, both methods are good. You just have to decide if you want to wait and have a say in the development of your character, or you want instanty character right now. A used account will cost a lot less. However, it will take some time to find the account that fits close to what you are looking for.
